Infosys announced its AI-First GCC Model, This model will enable organizations quickly establish and transform Global Capability Centers (GCCs) into hubs powered by artificial intelligence (AI) for innovation and growth.

It also facilitates AI-led transformation by using reliable AI agents and an integrated platform. Infosys’s AI-First GCC Model integrates several key components, the Infosys Agentic Foundry, which focuses on building and scaling effective AI agents; EdgeVerve AI Next, the platform designed for applying AI on a large scale; and Infosys Topaz, which integrates AI services and solutions throughout the GCC process.

Infosys also brings its expertise in using AI to enhance business processes, making them smarter and more efficient. For example, Infosys recently helped build a dedicated GCC for Lufthansa Systems. This center is working on innovative and sustainable IT solutions for aviation, aimed at improving safety, efficiency, customer experience, and competitiveness through the powerful features of Infosys Topaz.

Key features of the AI-First GCC Model include:

Comprehensive Setup and Transformation: Providing full support in managing the GCC lifecycle, including strategy development, site selection, establishment, recruitment, and operational launch.

AI-Driven Innovation: Incorporating enterprise AI into GCC operations to achieve cost savings, quicker market launches, and new business opportunities.

Future-Ready Talent: Utilizing the Infosys Springboard digital learning platform and extensive corporate university resources to maintain a steady pipeline of skilled talent that meets company needs.

Tailored Operating Models: Offering various options such as Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), assisted GCC setups, joint ventures, and partner-hosted models.

Satish H.C, Executive Vice President and Chief Delivery Officer at Infosys, stated, “As businesses transform their GCCs into strategic centers, Infosys is prepared to support their journey. Our AI-first approach, comprehensive GCC capabilities, and global delivery excellence uniquely position us to help clients create new value. Our dedicated GCC practice will provide the speed, scale, and strategic depth necessary for the next phase of enterprise transformation.”
