HCLTech and Circles Tie-Up to Advance Telecom Connectivity Platforms

HCLTech, a leading global technology company, today announced that it has been selected by Circles, a telecom-focused software provider, to bring next-generation connectivity solutions to telecom operators and non-telecom brands worldwide.

Announced today, February 6, 2026, focuses on combining HCLTech’s engineering and AI expertise with Circles’ SaaS platform used by Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and Mobile Virtual Network Enablers (MVNEs).

Under the arrangement, HCLTech will support the deployment of Circles’ platform, which enables companies to offer mobile services without owning network infrastructure, with the goal of accelerating implementations and expanding services that incorporate artificial-intelligence-led operational support. The companies say the collaboration will also address demands from digital brands and traditional carriers for flexible, cloud-native connectivity solutions.

Circles’ platform is already in use across multiple regions, with reported partnerships spanning about 14 countries and six continents. In recent years, the MVNO and MVNE segments have attracted attention as communication service providers explore avenues to diversify offerings and open new revenue streams without significant capital investment in network infrastructure.

Circles executives described the tie-up as strengthening the company’s ability to help users launch services more quickly and modernise operations.

“Circles Aspire is reshaping how MVNOs and MVNEs operate by making digital-first, AI-driven innovation the new standard. Our partnership with HCLTech significantly strengthens Circles’ ability to help operators, MVNOs and MVNEs to launch and scale with speed, amplify their end customer experience, and move beyond the constraints of legacy systems. Together, we are setting a new benchmark for the future of connectivity,” said Sanjay Kaul, CEO, Circles Aspire.

HCLTech characterised the engagement as reinforcing its footprint in the telecom sector. Both companies referred to legacy systems commonly used by operators,  and the challenges they present when introducing digital-first services, as part of the backdrop for the partnership.

“We are proud and excited to be selected by Circles as their technology transformation partner and leverage our AI-intrinsic approach to drive digital transformation at scale for the global telecom industry. This collaboration will strengthen Circles’ digital capabilities, helping global telcos to modernize operations, deliver differentiated customer experiences and adapt to the rapidly changing technology environment,” said Anil Ganjoo, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Telecom, Media, Publishing and Entertainment and Technology at HCLTech.

Industry observers note that such partnerships reflect broader trends in telecom, where operators, vendors and platform providers seek to blend software flexibility with scalability. Analysts have said companies participating in MVNO and MVNE ecosystems must balance speed of deployment, regulatory requirements and integration with existing networks.

The announcement does not disclose financial terms or specific implementation timelines.
