Riyadh, May 18, 2026: Google Cloud and Qiddiya Investment Company have expanded their collaboration to build the digital base for Qiddiya City, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest entertainment projects. The deal is built around Google Cloud data and AI tools, with Master Works serving as systems integrator. The goal is to turn a sprawling physical development into a more responsive, data-driven operation.
“By integrating Google Cloud’s global-scale infrastructure and cutting-edge AI into its operations, Qiddiya is building a foundation that turns massive data into actionable intelligence,” said Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban, managing director at Google Cloud Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. “Our fully integrated AI stack provides the innovation necessary to power a premier user experience ensuring that every facet of this massive-scale project is digitally optimized to meet the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
Qiddiya City is a major part of Saudi Vision 2030. It says the city is already seeing public activity at flagship destinations such as Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia, while the broader project continues to expand across sports, gaming, arts and entertainment districts.
The companies say Google Cloud’s infrastructure will help Qiddiya process operational data in near real time, from construction milestones to visitor demand patterns and operational efficiency. The aim is to cut “time-to-insight” from weeks to minutes.

About Google Cloud and Qiddiya’s AI infrastructure plan
The announcement describes three core technology layers; the first is an AI Factory based on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, designed to turn visitor behavior, spending and movement into usable planning data.
The second is an agentic AI system called Q-Brain, which will use Gemini models to support operational decisions and task execution.
The third is a unified data platform built on BigQuery, positioned as the city’s “single source of truth.”
“Our goal is a seamless digital experience that connects Qiddiya City with our growing nationwide entertainment portfolio,” said Abdulrahman Alali, chief technology officer at Qiddiya Investment Company. “By combining Google Cloud’s technology with Master Works’ integration expertise, we are establishing a robust, data-driven foundation that turns a massive project into a manageable, intelligent reality for both our operators and visitors.”
Qiddiya City spans 360 square kilometers, covers more than 20 neighborhoods, and is about three times the geographic area of Paris. The company says the project is designed to bring in more than 40 million visitors a year and eventually house half a million residents.
Large entertainment districts are becoming software problems as much as construction projects. Crowd movement, ticketing, transport, service demand, retail activity and venue operations all create data that has to be processed quickly. Qiddiya says Google Cloud will be used to make the city function like a responsive smart city, rather than a fixed collection of attractions.

For Saudi Arabia, the partnership fits the broader Vision 2030 pattern: use large-scale infrastructure, entertainment and digital systems to widen the economy beyond oil. The release makes that link explicit, positioning Qiddiya as a core part of the kingdom’s quality-of-life and diversification agenda.
