New Dell branding introduces three PC categories

Dell Technologies improves its inheritance of PC innovation with a streamlined product portfolio, featuring integrated on-device AI to enhance end-user creativity and productivity.

To expedite the adoption of AI PCs across industry settings, Dell provides developers and IT leaders with comprehensive tools for the evolution and deployment of AI applications on its AI-optimized PCs.

Dell’s latest AI PC portfolio offers a range of silicon choices that reduce the complexity for users and enterprises alike. The new Dell AI PCs comprise built-in NPU technology, enabling optimized AI performance tailored to distinct workload requirements. The lineup is bolstered by the addition of Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) processors and expanded AMD Ryzen offerings.

As the leading supplier of commercial AI PCs, Dell broadens its offerings with new designs that deliver improved performance and battery longevity, leveraging cutting-edge silicon technology and AI accelerators.

Purchasing a PC is always a complex challenge for buyers, decided by factors like brand, model, form factor, performance specs, graphics capabilities, storage options, and materials. Research indicates that 74% of consumers abandon technology purchases due to feeling overwhelmed by the choices.

Dell aims to relieve this confusion by prominently arranging its trusted brand across three primary PC categories: –

  • Dell: Tailored for gaming, education, and general productivity.
  • Dell Pro: Engineered for professional-grade efficiency.
  • Dell Pro Max: Optimized for peak performance.

These types expand to displays, accessories, and service offerings, ensuring a consistent customer experience across the entire client ecosystem.

Dell focused on industry-leading abilities across software, management, and sustainability initiatives. To facilitate technology selection, company has unified its branding across PCs, monitors, peripherals, and services.

“The PC remains the cornerstone of personal productivity, fundamentally transformed by AI,” remarked Michael Dell, chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies. “With 40 years of driving PC innovation, we are poised for this evolution. Our new streamlined AI PC portfolio embodies the next generation of computing.”

Collaborations with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. ensure that customers find optimal devices for their specific use cases. This integration of developed hardware, software, and silicon capabilities delivers powerful on-device Copilot+ PC experiences to a wider audience.

“Dell’s strategy to shift to simple, descriptive naming across its PC, ecosystem solutions, and services portfolio brings significant value to customers amidst a complex and evolving AI PC landscape,” said Pat Moorhead, President of Moor Insights & Strategy. “Alongside new silicon options from AMD, in addition to Intel and Qualcomm, and new PC designs, Dell is well positioned to offer choice and help organizations futureproof for the AI era.”
