Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Staufen AG, a German management consulting firm, along with its subsidiaries to bolster its operational excellence capabilities, specifically targeting the discrete manufacturing sectors, including automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial goods, and medical equipment.
The financial specifics of the acquisition have not been disclosed, and the transaction is contingent upon customary regulatory approvals.
Staufen AG possesses significant expertise in operational excellence, equipping clients to enhance their value chains, leverage digital manufacturing initiatives, and optimize business performance.
Staufen’s service offerings encompass key areas such as Industry 4.0 integration, advanced supply chain management, organizational transformation, and data-driven decision-making tools.
With more than 200 professionals in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil, Staufen serves clients from mid-market companies to blue-chip organizations. The team will join Accenture’s supply chain and operations practice.
