Tech Mahindra has inaugurated its flagship Consumer Agentic Experience Studio (CAX Studio) at its Infocity campus in Hyderabad. The studio is meant for retail, consumer goods, travel, transportation, logistics and hospitality enterprises that want to test and scale agentic AI across the consumer value chain.
Tech Mahindra describes the studio as an innovation hub where customers can experience, prototype and scale AI-led transformation. Tech Mahindra is framing the studio as a working environment for business use cases, not a showroom.
Atul Soneja, Chief Operating Officer, Tech Mahindra, said, “Consumer industries are moving beyond isolated digital initiatives toward connected, AI driven enterprise transformation. Organizations today need environments where they can experience how strategy, data, engineering and intelligent technologies come together to solve real business challenges. Our Consumer Agentic Experience Studio is designed to bridge that gap by enabling customers to prototype, validate and scale solutions across the end-to-end consumer value chain. By bringing together our consulting, engineering, experience, data and ecosystem capabilities in a collaborative environment, we are helping enterprises accelerate innovation, unlock measurable business outcomes and build autonomous, experience led businesses for the future.”
According to Tech Mahindra, the CAX Studio brings together industry expertise, agentic AI capabilities, design thinking and engineering skills. The aim is to help enterprises solve business problems tied to customer experience, operations and growth spanning the end-to-end consumer value chain.

Customers can validate ideas, test use cases and move more quickly toward deployment, with support from Tech Mahindra’s design, engineering and partner ecosystem.
The studio will showcase use cases including intelligent merchandising, autonomous supply chains, personalized customer engagement, connected retail operations, demand sensing, inventory optimization, travel experiences and intelligent logistics. Those examples show how the company is positioning agentic AI around operational decisions, not just chat or content generation.
The studio is built to connect strategy, data, engineering and intelligent systems in one place so enterprises can move from concept to execution faster.
What it means
AI is moving from generic experimentation toward industry-specific operating models. Tech Mahindra is building a physical space where consumer-facing businesses could work through AI adoption in the context of merchandising, logistics, supply chains and customer engagement.
The studio is meant to help organizations scale Agentic AI-led transformation across the consumer value chain.
A conventional innovation center often focuses on demonstrations, proofs of concept or broad digital transformation messaging. Tech Mahindra’s Hyderabad studio is narrower and more operational. It is aimed specifically at consumer industries and the business processes that sit closest to revenue, service and supply chain performance.
The company says it provides technology consulting and digital solutions across consulting, IT, enterprise applications, business process services, engineering services, network services, customer experience and design, AI and analytics, and cloud and infrastructure services. The new studio extends that portfolio into a dedicated consumer-industry environment.
For Hyderabad, the announcement adds another specialized enterprise AI facility to the city’s technology landscape.
