Samsung Electronics has announced the incorporation of Eclipsa Audio, an innovative 3D audio technology co-developed with Google, into its 2025 product lineup, encompassing both TVs and soundbars.
Eclipsa Audio allows users to manage required audio parameters, such as the spatial location, intensity, and reflective features of sound, facilitating an enriched three-dimensional auditory experience.
This 3D audio technology will redefine home entertainment by delivering creators with the tools to produce dynamic, immersive audio content that is seamlessly delivered through Samsung’s state-of-the-art devices.
After serving 18 consecutive years in the global TV market, Samsung has enhanced home entertainment with precision audio device “Eclipsa Audio”. Leverage this technology across its extensive range of offerings, from the budget-friendly Crystal UHD to the high-end Neo QLED 8K units.
With over 75% market share in displays larger than 75 inches, Samsung is poised to democratize access to cutting-edge audio technology.
As the first manufacturer to adopt this technology at scale, Samsung is ensuring that a diverse user base can engage with Eclipsa Audio across its entire 2025 lineup.

Beginning in 2025, content creators can upload videos embedded with Eclipsa Audio tracks directly to YouTube. This advancement means that viewers will be able to enjoy YouTube content featuring premium spatial audio capabilities on availability.

To secure a high standard of audio grade, Samsung and Google are collaborating with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) to establish a certification program for devices utilizing Eclipsa Audio. This step ensures that consumers experience optimal audio performance across all compatible hardware.
