LTM Partners With Cognition to Use Devin for AI-Powered Cybersecurity Remediation

LTM Partners With Cognition to Use Devin for AI-Powered Cybersecurity Remediation

LTM has signed a strategic partnership with Cognition to bring Devin, Cognition’s autonomous software engineering agent, into its BlueVerse RightLogic cybersecurity framework. LTM says the model will be used to identify, prioritise and remediate cyber exposure across banking infrastructure, applications, AI systems, software supply chains and governance.

BlueVerse RightLogic ingests findings from tools enterprises already run, ranks them by business importance and regulatory exposure, and then routes high-confidence fixes to Devin for end-to-end remediation. LTM engineers handle the more complex cases, and every fix is reviewed by a professional before it is merged. That makes the partnership closer to an execution layer than a reporting layer.

“The Financial Services sector is under constant pressure to strengthen security while accelerating AI adoption. Through BlueVerse RightLogic and Devin, we are helping clients reduce vulnerability backlogs, automate remediation, and improve cyber resilience across financial services, empowering them to innovate faster without compromising security.” — Harsh Naidu, Chief Business Officer – Banking & Financial Services, LTM.

Devin is its autonomous software engineer, built to plan, write, test and ship production code inside a customer’s existing codebase and tools. In this deal, that capability is being pointed at security backlogs and remediation work rather than general development alone.

Why financial services is the first focus

LTM and Cognition are prioritising financial services because the sector faces a high volume of vulnerabilities while also dealing with strict regulatory pressure. According to LTM, the framework is designed for banking infrastructure, applications, AI systems, software supply chains and governance, including risks tied to capital markets trading infrastructure, card networks and payment processing. Cognition and LTM both frame this as a domain where speed matters, but so does control.

LTM states the service is designed to lift Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures backlog coverage from roughly 60% to 80%. In plain terms, the aim is to close more of the open security work that often lies untouched for long periods inside large enterprises.

The companies say they will bring five joint offerings to market: AI security and vulnerability remediation, accelerated application modernisation, SDLC transformation and DevOps, tech and business convergence, and database and ETL migration. That mix matters because it shows the deal is not limited to one security workflow. It is positioned as a wider delivery model that can move from cyber risk into legacy modernisation and data migration work.

What it means

The partnership gives BlueVerse RightLogic a more direct remediation engine. For Cognition, it places Devin inside a services-led enterprise rollout where the agent is not just coding, but helping clear real operational backlogs. In the current market, that is important because many AI security stories stop at detection; this one is about execution.

This is a sign of where enterprise AI is heading. The next phase is workflow compression: taking the gap between “problem found” and “problem fixed” and reducing it with software agents. LTM is using its sector knowledge and delivery muscle, while Cognition is supplying the coding agent.

If the model works in financial services, it could become a template for other regulated industries that are struggling with the same backlog problem.
