The laptop set a new benchmark as the first mid-sized laptop to integrate a Camera-Under-Display (CUP) configuration, made possible by TCL CSOT’s advanced flexible OLED screen technology.
The Yoga Slim 9i employs TL CSOT’s CUP technology, achieving an impressive 98% screen-to-body ratio on its 14-inch display. This technology offers an improved immersive experience and enables the camera to reside beneath the screen surface.
This technique allows content creators and designers a more expansive and versatile workspace by removing conventional bezel limitations. The display provides professional-grade visual performance with its 4K PureSight Pro OLED capabilities, covering the full sRGB, P3, and Adobe RGB color gamuts while maintaining exceptional color fidelity (Delta E<1).
The 120Hz refresh rate ensures fluidity in motion rendering, addressing the demands of both creative professionals and entertainment consumers alike. This launch marks TCL CSOT’s inaugural application of Fine Metal Mask (FMM) OLED technology in mid-sized displays, resulting in the world’s first mass-produced panel that consolidates 4K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and CUP technology.
