Capgemini, a French multinational information technology services and consulting firm, announced its plan to set up an AI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Egypt to enhance the generative transformation processes for its clients worldwide.
The company will collaborate with local academic institutions to prioritize research and development and leverage strategic technology partnerships to boost large-scale AI adoption among clients.
Capgemini says it plans to double its workforce in Egypt by the end of 2025, aiming for approximately 1,200 skilled professionals specializing in digital transformation and innovation.
This Egypt AI Centre will be serviceable with various teams of architects, data scientists, product engineers, and project managers, all equipped to offer transformative solutions across business operations and engineering domains. Clients will benefit from time zone synchronization, multilingual capabilities, and the logistical ease of accessing this strategically located Global Delivery Center.

Starting in May 2025, Capgemini will launch this new AI hub. This hub will use Capgemini’s knowledge of specific industries to create smart tools for businesses that have many rules to follow, like energy, life sciences, and aerospace. It is designed to help clients discover, design, and use the latest technologies to improve how they work and change for the better businesses.
