LTIMindtree, a technology and digital solutions company, has opened its Cyber Defense Resiliency Center (CDRC) in Bengaluru, India. The aim of this center is to help businesses become stronger against cyberattacks.
According to a report by USAID, cybercrime is expected to grow a lot in the coming years, with damages possibly reaching $23.84 trillion by 2027. In India, there were nearly 600 reported cyberattacks in the first half of 2024, mostly targeting the education, government, and technology sectors.
LTIMindtree is focused on using AI in all areas of its work. The new center is designed to be a place for global clients to find help against cyber threats. The CDRC will use AI to make security operations better and faster, helping with threat detection, response to incidents, and managing resources. It will provide security solutions that are proactive and smart, predicting possible dangers using data analysis and natural language processing.
The CDRC will be open 24/7, offering information on cyber threats and help with incidents to clients around the world. It will serve as a Center of Excellence (COE) for LTIMindtree’s global cybersecurity experts, focusing on managing security events.
“At LTIMindtree, AI and cybersecurity are at the center of everything we do, and we are excited to launch this AI-driven CDRC for our global clients. This CDRC can help our clients respond to security incidents in real time, minimizing the impact of cyberattacks. They can also free up human analysts to focus on more complex tasks,” said, Nachiket Deshpande, Whole-Time Director and COO, LTIMindtree. “With increasing security risks, we consistently upgrade our cybersecurity capabilities to safeguard client and partner data. With this CDRC, we will continue our focus on security while also enhancing the skills and experience of our employees,” he added.
