Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure services provider, has announced the establishment of a new technology hub in Liverpool to facilitate the digital transformation of both UK and global clientele. Over the next three years, this initiative will create up to 1,000 roles in software engineering and AI-related fields within the Liverpool City Region.
By leveraging Kyndryl’s expertise in IT infrastructure, the Liverpool technology hub will empower enterprises to integrate mission-critical operations with business applications seamlessly, utilizing global partnerships to expedite digital and AI transformation processes.
This new technology hub will be conducted by Kyndryl Consult, incorporated with its Vital Studio. This studio is designed to foster a designer-led, collaborative co-creation environment, enabling customers to address complex, real-world challenges effectively. Moreover, Kyndryl Consult will offer advisory services that guide organizations in the adoption of AI, software engineering, platform engineering solutions, and other emergent technologies.

Kyndryl is also expanding its partnership with The Very Group, the Liverpool-based operators of the digital retail platforms Very and Littlewoods—under a new multiyear agreement aimed at enhancing the retailer’s digital capabilities across the entire value chain. Kyndryl will provide extensive software and platform engineering support, facilitating the rapid launch of new products and improving the overall digital customer experience.
