Fujitsu Partners with Palantir to Launch AI-Driven Solutions for Japanese Businesses

Fujitsu Palantir

Fujitsu Today announced a new licensing agreement with Palantir Technologies Japan. This agreement pertains to the use of the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (Palantir AIP), a software that enables businesses to leverage generative AI to enhance their operations.

The agreement was signed on August 5, 2025, and it allows Fujitsu to offer Palantir AIP to its customers in Japan, with plans to expand globally during fiscal year 2025. Fujitsu will also mix Palantir AIP with its own business model Fujitsu Uvance, which aims to solve social issues and support business transformation.

Fujitsu and Palantir started working together in 2020 to help businesses in Japan with data integration and digital transformation. In 2023, they signed a global deal that allows Fujitsu to market and distribute Palantir Foundry. With Palantir AIP combined with Palantir Foundry, businesses can quickly implement generative AI for data analysis and decision-making. This software can work with large language models (LLMs) within company networks and is used in sensitive areas such as finance and defense.

By using Palantir AIP, companies can design and build systems with generative AI much faster than traditional methods. This helps improve supply chains, automate business tasks, and support better decision-making for executives.

In its trials with Palantir AIP, Fujitsu found that the platform can help use people’s skills better, placing engineers in the right roles and improving matching accuracy. This led to less workload and faster decision-making. Now, Fujitsu is ready to fully use Palantir AIP to collect data from its internal systems and improve management, allowing early detection and prediction of risks to the supply chain, such as natural disasters and compliance issues.

Through this partnership, Fujitsu aims to achieve sales of USD 100 million by the end of fiscal year 2029 by providing valuable options and advanced decision-making support for customers in various sectors like manufacturing, retail, government, and finance. Palantir will continue to provide the Palantir AIP platform, offer functional improvements, and give technical support to expand its use.
