Cognizant has announced advancements built on NVIDIA AI aimed to help companies adopt AI faster in five main areas: AI agents for businesses, specific large language models (LLMs) for different industries, digital twins for smart manufacturing, the basic setup for AI, and the features of Cognizant’s Neuro AI platform that work with NVIDIA’s technology.
Cognizant is working with clients worldwide to help them get AI value more efficiently. They rely on their industry experience and a strong AI ecosystem that includes infrastructure, data, models, and development tools powered by their own platforms and accelerators. NVIDIA’s AI plays an important role in this, with work happening across various industries to help businesses grow and transform.
Annadurai Elango, President at Cognizant, stated, “We see companies moving from small projects to bigger AI systems.” He added that Cognizant aims to create and launch solutions that speed up this process and help clients gain faster value from AI by combining essential AI components, platforms, and solutions.
Jay Puri, Executive Vice President at NVIDIA, mentioned, “Transforming AI in businesses needs complete software and infrastructure along with access to specific data.” He explained that the Cognizant Neuro AI platform, built with NVIDIA’s AI, will provide specialized LLMs and applications to prepare businesses for the AI era with smart agents and digital twins.
At NVIDIA GTC 2025, Cognizant presented its intent to deliver offering updates across the following five areas:
1. AI Agents for Businesses: Cognizant Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator, powered by NVIDIA NIM microservices, will help clients quickly create and expand multi-agent AI systems for smart operations, quick decision-making, and personalized customer experiences. Clients can use a simple system to build and manage agents or choose from ready-made agent networks for specific business tasks like sales, marketing, and supply chain management.
2. Scaling Multi-Agent Systems: Cognizant is improving business operations with multi-agent systems and will use NVIDIA NIM, Blueprints, and Riva speech AI. They are creating an adaptable agent system designed to evolve over time. This will include ready-made security features and human oversight to ensure safety. Businesses will be able to develop applications suited to their needs using a pre-built agent catalog. Examples include multi-agent systems for insurance claims, supply chains, and contract management.
3. Industry-Specific LLMs: Cognizant is creating language models specific to different industries, powered by NVIDIA NeMo and NVIDIA NIM. These models are designed to meet the unique requirements of various industries, building on Cognizant’s industry knowledge to promote innovation and better business results. For instance, they have developed a model to improve healthcare processes, enhancing tasks like medical code extraction. This model aims to reduce costs, speed up processes, and maintain compliance with regulations.
4. Digital Twins for Manufacturing: Cognizant’s digital twin solutions, supported by NVIDIA Omniverse, aim to transform manufacturing by using NVIDIA’s technology. It will improve operations and supply chain management. These tools will help clients improve their production processes with real-time insights and predictive analytics, leading to greater efficiency and optimized spending.
5. Infrastructure for AI: Implementing AI effectively requires robust AI infrastructure and data prepared for AI. Cognizant’s infrastructure for AI, accelerated by NVIDIA, will provide clients access to NVIDIA AI technology via “GPU as a Service”, along with secure and managed infrastructure. This helps ensure that AI models can be run in various environments, including the cloud, data centers, or the edge.
