Bharti Airtel and Google have teamed up to offer a new service for Airtel postpaid customers. This service is called Google One, which offers customers to store their photos, videos, and documents online. Starting now, all postpaid and Wi-Fi customers can get a free six-month subscription to 100 GB of Google One cloud storage.

With this new cloud storage, customers can save their important files without having to delete things or buy extra space. Also, WhatsApp chats on Android will be backed up to Google Account storage, making it easier for users to switch phones. The service works on both Android and iOS devices.

Siddharth Sharma, who is the Director Marketing and CEO of Connected Homes at Bharti Airtel, said, “As smartphones are used for both personal and work information, storage is a big worry for users. We are happy to partner with Google to solve this issue and give our customers safe and easy storage options. This partnership will benefit millions of our postpaid and Wi-Fi customers by giving them an extra 100 GB of storage.”

Karen Teo, Vice President of Platforms & Devices Partnerships at Google for the Asia-Pacific region, also shared her excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to work with Airtel to bring Google One to many people in India. Together, we will help users safely back up their photos, videos, and important files on their phones.”

As part of the introductory offer, customers will enjoy the 100 GB cloud storage for free during the first six months after signing up.

To get this offer, customers just need to log into the Airtel Thanks App and claim it. After six months, if they choose to continue using Google One, there will be a small fee of ₹125 added to their monthly bill.

Customers can easily cancel their subscription if they do not want to continue. With Google One, members can:

Access 100 GB of cloud storage for Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail.

Keep their photos, files, and WhatsApp chats safely stored online for easy recovery if their phone is lost or when they buy a new one.

Share their storage with up to five family members at no extra charge.

About Google One: Google One is a subscription service that helps users get more from Google. With Google One, users can store files, photos, and videos safely in the cloud. They can also share their storage with up to five other people for free. Google One also offers plans with the latest Google AI features, in addition to secure storage. For more information.
