Bangalore based, Teleindia Datacenter and Power Grid Corporation India Ltd (PGCIL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise in Electric Power & Fiber Optic Network Transmission, have signed an MOU to help each other to enhance the customer experience. Both parties also decide to market their cross-portfolio to their respective clients together.
As per the MoU, PGCIL will leverage the Datasamudra facility in Bangalore to establish their PoP (Point of Presence), which will help PGCIL carry their Fibre connectivity to businesses across Industrial areas around Bangalore Airport.
Datasamudra will be able to jointly offer its portfolio of services and PGCIL connectivity to its clients who host or collocate in their data center.
Both Teleindia & PGCIL look forward to the starting of great synergy, collaboration & user experience.
PGCIL intercity data center fiber connectivity provides a unique OPGW solution that directly manages the expectations set by new-age clients like OTTs and enterprise carriers. PGCIL owns and runs approx 74,109 km of Telecom networks, Points of Presence (POP) in 458 locations, Points of Interconnections in 780 areas & Intra City network in 256 different cities in India.
