IT firm Cognizant announced the acquisition of Contino, a London based enterprise DevOps and cloud transformation consultancy having expertise in helping enterprises transform faster in this digital and technological era, advancing their working process. Cognizant and Contino have signed the agreement and the transaction is expected to close in the Q4 of 2019, subject to further satisfaction of closing conditions. Acquisition deal or any other financial details have not been disclosed.
Contino with approx 2000 clients globally, and approx 350 employees globally with operations in UK, US and Australia has been recognized as AWS premier partner as well as for deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Contino accelerate enterprise digital transformation journey by leveraging enterprise DevOps methodologies, a cloud-native development approach, and advanced data platforms.
Contino was co-founded by Matt Farmer and Benjamin Wootton, who serve as chief executive officer and chief technology officer, respectively. Contino was recognized in 2018 and 2019 as a “LinkedIn Top Startup” in the UK.
