India’s Bharti Airtel has strengthened its long-term partnership with Ericsson through a new initiative to deploy Ericsson’s advanced 5G Core technology. This collaboration is set to enhance Airtel’s network capabilities, providing robust support for the transition to a fully operational 5G Standalone architecture, ultimately benefiting millions of consumer and enterprise customers across India.
Under this agreement, Ericsson will implement its Signaling Controller solution within Airtel’s infrastructure. Additionally, the integration of Ericsson’s 5G Standalone-enabled Charging and Policy solutions will enhance Airtel’s monetization capabilities, paving the way for new business models.
