Infosys announced an expanded partnership with Siemens AG, a prominent technology firm, to optimize its digital learning initiatives using generative AI. This collaboration aims to equip over 250,000 Siemens employees globally with advanced upskilling opportunities and a highly personalized learning experience.
This initiative focused on the integration of Siemens’ My Learning World, an omnichannel digital learning platform, with Infosys Topaz, an AI-first solution that harnesses the power of generative AI technologies, alongside Infosys Wingspan, a next-generation enterprise learning experience platform powered by AI.
Siemens’ My Learning World platform features several sophisticated tools, including an AI-powered knowledge assistant designed to act as a learning companion, delivering instant responses and personalized recommendations tailored to user needs.
This advanced platform will include an AI-assisted content authoring capability with customized content in various languages. An AI chatbot will help learners in real time, facilitate course navigation, clarify complex concepts, and direct users to supplementary study materials as required.
There is also a virtual tutor who will streamline the learning method by providing features such as summary generation, content translation, and options for adapting to different learning styles.
Jenny Lin, Global Head of Learning & Growth at Siemens AG, said, “A thriving learning and growth environment is essential for Siemens to maintain our competitive edge and foster innovation. By providing our people with the tools, resources, and support they need to continuously develop their skills, we empower our people to meet the challenges of the future.
