Accenture has decided to acquire IQT Group, an Italian firm headquartered in Rovigo. The acquisition aims to synergize Accenture’s generative AI and digital technologies with IQT Group’s expertise in net-zero infrastructure projects, enhancing the efficiency of planning, execution, and management for clients pursuing sustainable infrastructure initiatives.
The transaction terms were not disclosed, and the acquisition is contingent upon standard closing conditions, including antitrust approvals.
IQT Group specializes in designing and overseeing net-zero infrastructure systems related to electricity generation and transmission.

With a team of over 450 consultants and engineers, IQT Group will integrate into Accenture’s expanding infrastructure and capital projects practice within the Industry X division in Italy. Accenture has been strategically enhancing its infrastructure and capital project capabilities on a global scale, with a notable focus on Europe.
