Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an IT services provider, has opened a new delivery centre in Warsaw, Poland. The centre, located in the city’s heart, showcases TCS’ capabilities across industries and technologies.
TCS also expects to double its workforce to 1200-plus in a year to support further regional growth with this new centre.
The centre was inaugurated by the Indian Ambassador to Poland, Nagma Mallick, TCS’ head of Europe, Sapthagiri Chapalapalli, and General Manager for TCS in Eastern Europe, Prabal Datta.
This centre will tap into the growing Polish Information and Communication Technology (ICT) talent pool to support customers’ needs. It forms a part of TCS’ European delivery network and opens in a new tab, facilitating the delivery of hyper-connected services to its customers across Europe.
This ensures that all TCS customers globally benefit from consistent, near-shore experiences tailored to their unique cultural, compliance, language, and technological requirements.
Nagma Mallick, Indian Ambassador to Poland, said, “I am proud to witness this milestone event. This event marks a new chapter in expanding India’s IT prowess in Poland and further strengthens the economic ties between our two nations. It is a gratifying moment for TCS and the Embassy of India in Poland.”
European governments are also facing ambitious growth targets. Opens in new tab for digital skills, infrastructures, and business capabilities by 2030 to uphold the region’s competitiveness at the forefront of enterprise and innovation.
Sapthagiri Chapalapalli, Head of Europe, TCS, said, “Poland is a strategic location for TCS, and we are proud of our long-standing commitment to the region. TCS has established solid partnerships with prominent Polish and global companies for nearly twenty years. Our decision to invest and scale our presence demonstrates our faith in the Polish economy and the exceptional talent available to support our customers worldwide.”
TCS set up operations in Poland in 2006, and its regional presence has strengthened since then.
