Today, Fujitsu announced the launch of FUJITSU Network 1FINITY T250, a disaggregation-type optical transmission device designed to achieve the IOWN (Innovative Optical and Wireless Network) initiative.
Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) is an initiative that aims to optimize network and information processing infrastructure to provide high-capacity and high-speed communication systems that surpass conventional limits.
This device, the 1FINITY T250, is part of their plan for an All-Photonics Network (APN), which promises higher transmission capacity, lower latency, and lower energy consumption. It includes technology that can adjust delays and switch paths without disrupting the network.
By Latency adjustment technology, they maintain high-quality network connections even during failures. It also minimizes the path delay time to be controlled in 1 microsecond by Visualization in optical networks.
By connecting the OTU4 interface (which sends and receives optical signals and mainly accommodates 100GE) to the client of the transponder in use, which sends and receives optical signals, the existing network can be upgraded to a highly reliable network.
Using 1FINITY T250 to configure a backup line. Fujitsu will support highly reliable APNs based on the IOWN initiative, where users can enjoy high-quality services.
