The facility will deliver data center capacity to hyperscalers – large cloud, content, commerce, and Fintech organizations. Data center MU1 provides 48 MW of critical IT capacity across 2 buildings.
The MU1 data center will be powered up to 40 percent by renewable energy and will function with minimal water consumption.
PDG is backed by blue-chip institutional investors like Warburg Pincus, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), and Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala). In Feb 2022, PDG received an equity investment of more than $500 million led by Mubadala Investment.
Rangu Salgame, Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of PDG said, “India is one of the fastest growing data center markets in the world today and is a key focus market for PDG.
