Wipro Limited has moved its main office for the Middle East from Al Khobar to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The new office in Riyadh was officially inaugurated during a ceremony with Wipro leaders, employees, and customers. This new office is the latest addition to Wipro’s growing number of offices in the region, which already include locations in Riyadh, Al Khobar, Jeddah, and Jubail.

Mohammed AlRobayan, who is the Deputy Minister for Technology at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, said, “Opening Wipro’s new office in Riyadh is an important step that will help the Kingdom’s digital economy to grow. It also shows that Saudi Arabia has a strong environment for digital business. We appreciate the company’s investment in training local talent, which aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and helps strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global technology center.”

Along with the opening of its new office, Wipro has signed an agreement with Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University to establish a Center of Excellence in Riyadh. This partnership aims to support local talent by providing training in advanced technologies, practical experience, and access to Wipro’s resources. The Center will focus on preparing young Saudi nationals with important skills for the future, creating a skilled workforce that can benefit businesses and the country.

Vinay Firake, who is the CEO for Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa at Wipro, said, “Opening our new office in Riyadh shows our promise to help the changing business environment in Saudi Arabia. This important move, along with our ongoing support for the country’s goals, aligns with our vision of fostering growth and developing a skilled workforce in the region. Our commitment is also shown by the recent appointment of Mohamed Mousa as the new Managing Director for Wipro Middle East from our Riyadh office, which will help strengthen our long presence in the Middle East.”
