March 5, 2026: Wipro Limited has appointed Laura Marie Miller as an Additional Director in the capacity of Independent Director, with effect from April 1, 2026, according to a company disclosure. The appointment has been approved by the board and will be subject to shareholder approval.
Laura Marie Miller’s tenure on the board is scheduled for five years, from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031. The decision was approved by Wipro’s board on March 5, 2026.
Wipro said Laura Miller brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience, particularly in guiding large global organisations through digital transformation, enterprise modernisation, and performance improvement initiatives. Her experience spans sectors including retail, hospitality, payments and technology operations, where she has worked closely with executive teams and corporate boards during periods of business and technological change.
Before joining Wipro’s board, Laura Miller held senior leadership roles across several multinational companies. She was part of the executive leadership team at Macy’s, where she played a role in shaping the company’s digital, data and artificial-intelligence strategy.
Earlier in her career, Laura Miller held global leadership roles at InterContinental Hotels Group and First Data, working on large-scale operational transformation and technology initiatives.
Laura Miller also brings prior public company board experience. She previously served as a director of EVO Payments until its acquisition by Global Payments, and has been a board member at LGI Homes. Currently, she serves as a Non-Executive Director at NCR Voyix and Ahold Delhaize.
