This strategic acquisition enhances S&P Global’s textual data analytics by leveraging ProntoNLP’s proprietary models and large language model (LLM)-based signal processing tools.
Founded in 2021, ProntoNLP has developed sophisticated natural language processing (NLP) solutions that integrate with LLM technology to conduct rapid, in-depth analysis of unstructured financial data across large datasets.
The company’s offerings comprise customizable solutions aimed at event detection and sentiment analysis, all powered by AI.
Following the acquisition, ProntoNLP will be embedded within the S&P Global Market Intelligence division, with its intellectual property set to facilitate broader enterprise applications.
