At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Siemens disclosed the ‘Siemens for Startups’ initiative, designed to support early-stage engineering and manufacturing startups by providing access to advanced technology and resources.
This program will focus on accelerating invention, optimizing developmental workflows, and encouraging rapid startup scaling. The program aims to reduce the obstacles to entry for startups by offering venture-centric services and lowering costs associated with Siemens’ software and hardware.
The Siemens for Startups framework is built upon three foundations: Connect, Collaborate, and Empower.
Siemens focuses on onboarding startups onto the Siemens Xcelerator marketplace, granting them access to a vast global go-to-market channel and the broader Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem.
Siemens will engage with select startups as early customers and co-developers via a venture client strategy. This framework enables Siemens to leverage pioneering capabilities and services while providing startups with initial revenue streams critical for their growth trajectories.
By proposing packaged access to vital software tools from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, the program aims to support startups that are either product-oriented or software-driven.

Amid its ongoing collaboration with AWS, Siemens will integrate the ‘Siemens for Startups’ initiative with AWS’s Startup program. This alliance is designed to improve innovation, facilitate development cycles, and aid startups in scaling operations effectively.
Both companies join to advance entrepreneurship and digital transformation within the industrial sector. Authorizing startups will benefit from AWS credits, business growth support, and access to the AWS Activate program for technical and go-to-market service.
“Startups are essential to making our customers more competitive, sustainable, and resilient. By collaborating with startups, Siemens helps bring breakthrough ideas to industries faster, empowering customers to address global challenges more effectively with cutting-edge technologies, tools, and solutions,” said Peter Koerte, Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.
During the announcement at CES 2025, Siemens highlighted several startup collaborators leveraging Siemens technology to scale their operations with Arkisys, Dirac, EthonAI, Haddy, Instrumental, and Tended.
“Collaborating with Siemens allows us to extend the capabilities of our AWS Startup program to a new generation of innovators in the engineering and manufacturing space,” said Jon Jones, Vice President and Global Head of Startups at AWS. “By providing startups with advanced software, generative AI, and cloud services, AWS and Siemens enable them to bring their ideas to life more quickly and boost entire industries with cutting-edge solutions.”
The Siemens Startups program and strategic partnerships demonstrate its affirmation of driving innovation and technological improvement in the startup ecosystem within the engineering and manufacturing domains.
