Netskope has announced that Ajay Gupta has been promoted to Vice President and Country Manager for the SAARC region, which includes South Asian countries.
Ajay Gupta joined Netskope in 2018 when it opened its first office in India. For the past seven years, he has been leading Netskope’s efforts in India and the SAARC region. During this time, the company expanded its presence in India, opening offices in cities like Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad and Kolkata. India also hosts the second-largest development center for Netskope in the world. Netskope has been growing its global NewEdge private security cloud network as well, adding three full compute data centers in India in just the last year, bringing the total to eight.
These centers are located in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai. This local infrastructure allows Netskope to provide excellent services to Indian organizations, ensuring fast performance and reliable security.
Tony Burnside, SVP and Head of APAC at Netskope, said the company’s success in India and SAARC shows that local organizations now see value in what Netskope offers as they modernize their security and networking solutions. He congratulated Ajay on his well-deserved promotion and acknowledged the team’s hard work. Netskope continues to expand its presence in the SAARC region by adding new partners to its ecosystem to help bring modern security to less developed markets.
