Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has set to establish the Mitsubishi Electric Intelligent Manufacturing Technology (China) Group Co., Ltd. in Suzhou, China, set to launch on April 1. The new headquarters will be responsible for comprehensive functions, including product planning, development, manufacturing, and sales, to establish autonomous business operations.
Mitsubishi Electric’s FA systems will serve as the nucleus for business in critical zones for industrial automation in China. It has been actively working to deepen its footprint in China by establishing local manufacturing, sales, and service infrastructures that deliver high-performance products that were traditionally conceived and developed in Japan.
The acceleration of smart factory implementations has significantly transformed the Chinese industrial landscape, so Mitsubishi Electric has decided to establish a Chinese headquarters to oversee its FA systems business in the local business environment.
