Lenovo, a global technology leader, has joined the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative initiative (JCDC), which brings together public and private organizations to address pressing cybersecurity issues.
JCDC was established by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). CISA believes that collaboration is essential to ensuring the effectiveness of cyberspace, and JCDC aims to unify cyber defenders from organizations around the world.
“At Lenovo, we are dedicated to supporting the missions of CISA and JCDC to help unify cyber defenders from government and global technology to address threats to U.S. critical infrastructure,” said Doug Fisher, SVP & Chief Security and AI Officer, Lenovo. “In order to effectively combat cyber threats, collaboration between government and industry is essential. We are eager to contribute to this initiative and build additional relationships across CISA and the federal government to bolster the collective defense of cyberspace.”
In addition to supporting the JCDC, Lenovo was one of the first companies to commit to CISA’s ‘Secure by Design’ pledge earlier this year. Lenovo’s Security First Culture, Policies, and Standards underpin its commitments to infrastructure, products and services, supply chain, and physical security.
