Tech Mahindra MD & CEO, CP Gurnani, has won a Gold in CEO World Awards 2018 for leading organization-wide reskilling initiatives. Tech Mahindra has also won the Bronze Award for ‘excellence in the Information Technology sector.
CP Gurnani has been honored for his ambitious initiative aimed at reskilling and upskilling of over 112,000 Tech Mahindra employees to ensure that they have the requisite skills and knowledge to remain competitive in an ever-evolving information technology and digital market space.

More than 90 per cent of Tech Mahindra’s technical employees have undergone training in digital familiarization and primary digital skills. In addition, more than 60 per cent of these employees have undergone advanced training on digital competencies and the company is geared up to re-skill another 50,000 employees for present and future requirements.
As part of its re-skilling initiatives, Tech Mahindra has recently also launched an internal campaign called Botify – the biggest man machine collaboration in the history of Tech Mahindra. The objective of the campaign is to educate, empower and enable all its associates on cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Chatbots, Robotic Process Automation, Natural Language Processing, and related Platforms on Products.
The coveted annual CEO World Awards 2018 recognize the best in leadership, innovation, organizational performance, new products and services, CEO excellence studies, corporate social responsibility, and milestones from every major industry in the world. Organizations from all over the world submit their nominations – including public and private, profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups. This year, more than 80 judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2018 award winners.
