Accenture has agreed to acquire CyberCX, a prominent cybersecurity firm in Australia. The Australian Financial Review values the deal at approximately $650 million USD. This acquisition is the biggest in Accenture’s history for cybersecurity and the largest-ever cybersecurity deal in the Asia-Pacific region.
CyberCX helps both private businesses and public organizations protect against cyber threats. This deal will help Accenture strengthen its role in this area, allowing it to build resilience for businesses, protect important infrastructure, and adapt to complex security challenges as threats increase.
CyberCX was founded in Melbourne, Australia, in 2019. It has grown to be one of the largest cybersecurity firms in the Asia Pacific, with about 1,400 employees. CyberCX also has advanced security operation centers in Australia and New Zealand and offices in London and New York, combining local expertise with global reach.
CyberCX also has strategic ecosystem partnerships with major cybersecurity players such as Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike, and has earned recognition as one of the region’s top managed service/system integrators
