Palo Alto Networks, a cybersecurity firm, has partnered with IBM and the UK Home Office’s Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP) to architect advanced solutions for User Services within the Emergency Services Network (ESN).
IBM UK leads this multi-year project to deploy a robust and highly secure voice and data infrastructure to enhance front-line operational efficiency and establish a unified platform that facilitates improved collaboration and data interoperability among police, fire, and ambulance services during emergencies.
Palo Alto Networks will strengthen the ESN by enforcing a security framework powered by Precision AI. This will encompass comprehensive protection across various surfaces, including mobile networks, cloud resources, and Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
Rahul Kalia, Managing Partner, IBM Consulting UK & Ireland said, “We are proud to support the Emergency Services Network in delivering a secure and resilient communications platform to empower frontline emergency services,” said Rahul Kalia, Managing Partner, IBM Consulting UK and Ireland. “Working with our ecosystem partners, we will deliver mission-critical services for first responders to enhance safety in our communities across Great Britain.
