5 Effective Ways to Maintain Healthy Corporate Culture

Company culture, corporate culture, organization culture – you might have heard these words frequently, these all are pointing toward healthy organization environment. The corporate culture impacts organization in many ways, starts from recruiting, performance and productivity. It defines company’s identity in both ways enteral and external. When it comes to company’s common goal, employees contribute their best skills and knowledge like a member, and they know ‘what to do’ to get the job done. Your valued employees usually won’t leave you, and will help to grow faster with positive social impact, if you are maintaining healthy corporate culture in you organization.   

Here are 5 ways you can maintain healthy corporate culture

1. Vision and mission statement

Healthy corporate culture starts with organization’s vision and mission statement, organizations can not follow corporate culture if it lacks defining vision and mission. If the vision is clear and meaningful, every employees, partners, stakeholders has own purpose to obtain company’s vision. Vision statement must be in a way that describes future state of success and should be realistic.

2. On-boarding right people

On boarding right personalities play crucial role creating healthy corporate culture. Employee’s career goal should be matching with organization’s goal, and employee must have ability with willingness to achieve it. Just to get the right people, many big organizations follow most stringent recruiting policies. People having required skills and background less worthy until shares common vision  and willingness to achieve it.

3. Encourage positive environment

Working in a positive and happy environment boost employees morale and reduce workplace stress. Positive corporate culture encourages employees to feels like valuable pillar of company. Many big corporate giants avoid hiring people with stress and negative thinking. Gratitude, smile play important role creating positive thinking. I always encourage my team to keep your thinking positive and on-going, some time we fail to reach set result but the willingness to go forward and positive thinking help to achieve it.

4. Listen and communicate

Listing is way forward to healthy corporate culture, it encourage employees confidence, Employees feel productive if their voices heard by senior management. Some time a random employee holds right solution but he is not able to speak because previously his thought was ignored by his superior, A positive though or good decision can be come from anyone, considerable thoughts must go forward with credit to right person.

Lack of communication from the top- down may creates type of insecurity and uncertainty which may effect you corporate culture and organization’s productivity.

5. Maintain and evolve good culture

It is not possible to create corporate culture overnight, it is ongoing value starts from employees recruitment and it needs to be maintain by all level of organization including top management. Over-control always carry risk with it so you need to ensure to give it the freedom to evolve company culture.
