Program Overview & Key Details
- Purpose: The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship is for PhD students from around the world whose research is related to NVIDIA’s focus areas, such as AI, machine learning, computer graphics, robotics, high-performance computing, and autonomous systems. Fellows receive financial support, mentorship, and access to NVIDIA’s advanced research infrastructure.
- Funding: Up to $60,000 per award, would be disbursed via the recipient’s university to support their research during the 2026–2027 academic year.
- Internship Requirement: Fellows must complete an in-person summer internship at one of NVIDIA’s research offices (e.g., U.S., Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, or Taiwan) prior to the fellowship year.
- Recommendation Letters Deadline: Same day, 12:00 Noon PT.
- App Submission Deadline: September 15, 2025, by 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply:
- Candidate must have completed at least one year of PhD-level studies.
- Be enrolled full-time in a PhD program during 2026–2027, and not expect to graduate before May/June 2027.
- Be pursuing research in fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
- Be available for the required in-person summer internship before the fellowship year.
- Not be an immediate family member of a current NVIDIA employee.

- Research Summary / Thesis Proposal (max 2 pages, excluding bibliography).
- CV/Resume detailing academic achievements, publications, and awards.
- 2–3 Letters of Recommendation, including one from your thesis advisor.
