NTT DATA, a leader in digital business and technology services, has unveiled a new managed security service leveraging technologies from Palo Alto Networks to bolster the security of private 5G networks in industrial and operational technology (OT) settings.
This offering is delivered as a comprehensive managed service, equipping enterprises with a Private 5G infrastructure that provides the necessary visibility and security crucial for contemporary OT environments.
The combined NTT DATA Private 5G and Palo Alto Networks solution is developed for ease of deployment and management, seamlessly fitting into existing enterprise IT/OT infrastructures. This integration ensures organizations can concentrate on innovation and strategic initiatives while maintaining a robust security grade.
By integrating Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and its OT/IOT security subscriptions with NTT DATA’s Private 5G framework, the new solution enhances clients’ network visibility, access control, and automated threat detection and response capabilities. The implementation of a Zero Trust security model via the Palo Alto Networks NGFW allows organizations to utilize machine learning (ML) methodologies to authorize only essential connections, applications, and protocols within their networks.
