On October 20, 2025, Lenovo introduced new AI capabilities that are a central part of its new initiatives, AI Enabled Workforce portfolio. It is a complete collection of devices, services, and support options that help businesses use AI effectively and see real results.
Supported by Lenovo’s AI technology and a library of ready-to-use agents, these features help teams save time by taking care of routine tasks and improving productivity.
Key elements of the portfolio
Lenovo describes this initiative as built around three pillars: personalization, operational simplification, and protection.
1. Personalize work via agentic intelligence: Lenovo claims that by deploying agentic‐AI capabilities and its Care of One™ platform, organisations can reduce support-tickets by up to ~30%.
2. Simplify operations through smarter devices & services: AI-enabled PCs (e.g., the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X9) with dedicated AI processors + Lenovo’s ThinkShield security for protection.
3. Protect & adapt with trusted, sustainable IT: Lenovo’s “TruScale Device as a Service (DaaS)” model is part of this: devices + services + lifecycle management under one predictable contract. They say per-seat expenses can be cut by up to ~57%. They also emphasise hardware + firmware + endpoint AI defence via ThinkShield, and sustainability features (e.g., a Carbon Impact Portal).
“Agentic AI is not just about new technology; it changes how work is done,” said Rakshit Ghura, VP and General Manager of Digital Workplace Solutions, Lenovo. “With agentic AI as a key part of our offerings, we allow organizations turn predictions into real results”.
“Every employee can benefit from devices that learn how they work,” said Tom Butler, Vice President Commercial Portfolio and Product Management, Intelligent Devices Group, Lenovo. “By putting AI into our computers, Lenovo AI PCs make the user experience faster, safer, and easier. They also connect smoothly with our AI features and support services to help businesses work better.”
To assist organizations in getting started, Lenovo provides a full range of AI services. This starts with AI Discover workshops that help identify useful projects and create action plans. The AI Advisory service aligns goals and prepares employees, while AI Fast Start can show results in as little as 90 days. With AI Deploy & Manage, Lenovo combines AI features and ongoing support to ensure that tasks run smoothly, ethically, and effectively as companies expand their use of AI.
“At Lenovo, we view services as the connection between the promise of AI and real results for customers,” said John Stamer, another Lenovo executive. “That’s why we’ve created solutions that make it easier to implement, improve operations, and give every employee the right tools and support to succeed.”
Lenovo’s announcement marks a clear statement, they view the next chapter of workplace transformation as driven by agentic AI rather than just smarter devices. By building a portfolio that spans devices, services, lifecycle management, and AI agents, Lenovo is positioning itself to help enterprises operationalise AI (not just pilot it).
