Lenovo announced the appointment of Tareq Alangari as Senior Vice President & President of its Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa (META) business. Tareq Alangari starts his new position on January 4, 2026, and will lead the META business from Lenovo’s Regional Headquarters in Saudi Arabia.
Tareq Alangari has 25 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, cloud, and the digital industry. Before joining Lenovo, Tareq Alangari was the CEO of e& enterprise Saudi Arabia. He started that business and made it a leading company in digital infrastructure, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and financial technology. His skills in building fast-growing businesses and delivering advanced solutions will help Lenovo bring new ideas to the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa.
