Infosys, a next-gen digital services and consulting provider, and the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), a national knowledge institution focused on urban transformation, hosted the BioConserve Summit 2025 at the Infosys Bengaluru campus.
This summit gathers stakeholders, including spokespeople from academia, architectural firms, NGOs, corporate entities, and government agencies, to collaboratively develop biodiversity conservation frameworks suitable to urban environments and institutional campuses.
The BioConserve Summit 2025 addresses the urgent requirement for biodiversity preservation and acts as an integrative platform, facilitating knowledge exchange among experts from various sectors.
The discussions encompassed the required dimensions of biodiversity loss, land-sharing methodologies, ecological restoration tactics, urban biodiversity incorporation, and campus sustainability initiatives.
Acknowledging the key function of broad urban campuses in fostering biodiversity, the summit talks about the strategies for designing, managing, and leveraging these spaces to conserve ecosystems and promote sustainable urban environments through innovative solutions and cooperative engagement.
