HCLTech announced that Kiran Cherukuri will be the new Global GCC Practice Leader. Kiran will help grow HCLTech’s Global Capability Center (GCC) practice in his new job.
In his new role, Kiran will be responsible for scaling HCLTech’s Global Capability Center (GCC) practice by bringing focused offerings that leverage HCLTech’s services and technology portfolio as well as corporate functions capabilities. To date, HCLTech has been a partner to over 200 GCCs in India.
Rahul Singh, the Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Functions at HCLTech, welcomed Kiran by saying, “GCCs have become important centers for digital innovation for businesses around the world. HCLTech wants to focus even more on this growing area in India. I believe that Kiran’s strong experience and knowledge will help us improve our leadership in the GCC field.”
Kiran Cherukuri expressed his excitement, saying, “GCCs can provide more value by changing technology and skills. I am happy to join HCLTech again and help with our growth plans in this area.”
Kiran has more than 30 years of experience in technology companies and startups. He worked at HCLTech for over 14 years, making significant contributions in areas like Digital Foundation Services, Engineering and R&D Services, Industry Solutions, and Talent Solutions.
He has set up delivery centers around the world and has experience in business development, partnerships, and marketing. Kiran has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management.
