Genpact announced the appointment of John M. Hinshaw to the Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2025.
Most recently, Hinshaw worked as the Group Chief Operating Officer at HSBC Bank from February 2020 until September 2024. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President in charge of Technology and Operations at Hewlett-Packard Company from November 2011 to November 2015. Afterward, he joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company in a similar role and was also the Chief Customer Officer until October 2016. Before his time at Hewlett-Packard, Hinshaw worked at Boeing. From 2010 to 2011, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Boeing Information Solutions. He was also the Chief Information Officer at Boeing from 2007 to 2010, where he focused on information management and security.

Hinshaw spent 14 years at Verizon Communications, where he held various positions. He eventually became the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Verizon Wireless, overseeing the IT department of the wireless provider.

Hinshaw is also an independent director on the board of Sysco Corporation, a major company that sells and distributes food and related products. He has previously served on the boards of the Bank of New York Mellon Corporation from 2014 to 2019 and DocuSign, Inc. from 2014 to 2020.
