Exabeam announced the appointment of Mike Byron as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Byron joins Exabeam with a strong background spanning over two decades in global finance organizations, particularly within high-growth SaaS enterprises, which positions him as an asset in navigating the complexities of the evolving tech landscape.
He previously served as SVP of Strategic Finance and FP&A at Mimecast, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company after its IPO, leading acquisitions, and driving its successful $5.8 billion sale to private equity firm Permira in 2022.
Byron has also held key leadership positions at Rapid7, Parexel International, and Millipore Corporation, where he built out financial systems, drove strategic alignment for operational excellence, and supported business expansions.

Byron’s arrival at Exabeam coincides with a crucial period marked by momentum following the recent merger with LogRhythm. In his capacity as CFO, he will spearhead the global financial planning and analysis division, focusing on refining financial processes, establishing a cohesive CFO organization, and underpinning the company’s aggressive growth trajectory.
