Ericsson has announced that Ludvig Landgren will be appointed as the new Head of Australia and New Zealand units, starting on May 1, 2025.
Ludvig has over 25 years of experience related to sales and services in Europe and Asia-Pacific. For the last five years, he led Ericsson’s Cloud and Software unit in Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India. In this role, he worked closely with companies in Australia and New Zealand to help them improve their technology, automate processes, and make the most of 5G technology.
Currently living in Singapore, Ludvig will move to Sydney for this new position. He takes over from Emilio Romeo, who has worked in this role for nine years and is now an Executive Strategic Advisor. Emilio will focus on helping Ericsson’s important clients in Southeast Asia grow and change.
Andres Vicente, who leads Ericsson in Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India, mentioned, “Ludvig is an experienced leader in telecommunications and knows a lot about the markets in Australia and New Zealand. He understands how our customers and partners can use 5G to achieve great results. I believe that with Ludvig’s leadership, we will improve our position and create more value with 5G for our customers in Australia and New Zealand.”
Ludvig Landgren also said, “Australia and New Zealand are pioneers in mobile technology and have the chance to change how our industry creates value. I am excited to work with our local team, customers, and partners to bring new mobile innovations that will benefit both consumers and businesses.”
