LTIMindtree has announced that Debashis Chatterjee will retire as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director at the end of its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 30, 2025. The Board of Directors has decided to appoint Venu Lambu, who is currently the CEO Designate, as the new CEO and Managing Director starting on May 31, 2025.
Chatterjee has been working closely with Venu Lambu to ensure a smooth change in leadership for the company.
Debashis Chatterjee, often referred to as “DC,” was the CEO and Managing Director of Mindtree from 2019 until its merger with L&T Infotech in November 2022. After the merger, he led the newly created LTIMindtree. During his time as leader, LTIMindtree grew to become the sixth-largest IT services firm in India by revenue. He worked diligently to integrate the strengths of both companies, enhancing services and fostering new ideas.
The LTIMindtree Board highly appreciated Debashis Chatterjee for his leadership that helped the company grow and succeed.
S. N. Subrahmanyan, the Chairman of LTIMindtree, expressed appreciation for Chatterjee, saying, “We are grateful to Debashis Chatterjee for his strong leadership that has taken LTIMindtree to new levels.
