Visakhapatnam/Srikakulam, November 17, 2025: Kings Infra Ventures Limited has signed a crucial agreement with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop the Kings Maritime Aquaculture Technology Park. The Park will cover 500 acres with a cost of ₹2,500 crore. The site is located near Srikakulam, close to Visakhapatnam.
As part of this agreement, the Government has named the District Collector of Srikakulam to identify suitable land and expedite all required legal approvals. This will allow the project to start quickly once the land is finalised.
Kings Infra will invest ₹500 crore directly into developing core infrastructure, processing, and research and development (R&D) facilities. An additional ₹2,000 crore is expected to come from related industries, tank-based systems, participation from MSMEs, and renewable energy projects.
The Technology Park is designed to be a unique aquaculture innovation hub. It will include hatcheries, indoor farming systems, multi-species culture units, processing lines, a marine bio-actives division, and a digital operations center powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
Shri Kondapalli Srinivas, the Honourable Minister for MSME, stated, “Andhra Pradesh is the largest aquaculture-producing state in India. With our Honourable Chief Minister’s leadership and vision, the Kings Maritime Aquaculture Technology Park represents India’s first initiative of its kind. We are dedicated to providing full support for this project and will ensure smooth and fast approvals, from land selection to all necessary permissions. We welcome Kings Infra’s decision to develop this important ecosystem in Srikakulam and are confident that it will help us achieve our goals for coastal development, expanding entrepreneurship, and making Andhra Pradesh a leading global destination for responsible aquaculture.”
One of the special features of the Park is the Aquaculture Skill & Innovation Centre. This center will train and certify 5,000 aqua professionals over five years. Trainees will gain hands-on experience with indoor recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled tanks, automated feeding systems, biosecurity measures, and AI-based farm management.
The entire ecosystem will be digitally connected using BlueTechOS, Kings Infra’s proprietary AI operating system, which will be built and managed from Vizag. This platform will offer real-time water quality analysis, predictive disease alerts, automated feeding, and comprehensive digital farm management—making it India’s first fully AI-driven aquaculture park.
Shaji Baby John, Chairman & Managing Director of Kings Infra Ventures Ltd., said, “This project is designed to be a global model for smart and sustainable aquaculture. We invite technology leaders, research institutions, and investors from around the world to join us in this groundbreaking initiative. By combining AI, biotechnology, automation, and renewable energy within a single ecosystem, we aim to create the most advanced aquaculture platform in the world—built in India, for the world. With strong support from the Government of Andhra Pradesh, this Technology Park will open new opportunities for the Blue Economy, create significant jobs and business opportunities, and set global standards for responsible food production.”
A special Marine Nutraceutical & Bio-actives Unit will turn marine biomass into high-value ingredients, such as astaxanthin, Omega-3 oils, marine collagen, and seaweed-based products, thereby enhancing the project’s circular economy model.
Sreeram Inagalla, COO of International Business for Kings Infra Ventures Ltd., said, “We are thrilled to launch this significant project in Srikakulam—a region with incredible coastal potential, skilled communities, and direct access to global trade routes. The Government’s proactive support and willingness to expedite land allocation and necessary approvals make this location perfect for India’s next-generation aquaculture hub. Our goal is to create a fully integrated ecosystem here, bringing together R&D, multi-species farming, digital farm management, processing, training, and bio-economy sectors. This initiative will not only change the aquaculture landscape of Andhra Pradesh but also generate widespread employment, entrepreneurship, and export opportunities for the region.”
