Adobe and General Assembly Collaborate to Upskill Creative Professionals in India with AI Skills

Adobe, an American computer software company, has collaborated with the General Assembly, a technology education and talent development platform, and unveiled the Creative Skills Academy in India. The program aims to offer creative marketing skills, integrating hands-on experience with AI-driven applications like Adobe Express.

The inauguration of Creative Skills for Marketers will be on February 25, 2025, with applications currently open. The Creative Skills Academy will offer comprehensive virtual training sessions, fully sponsored by Adobe and free of charge to participants.

“Upskilling the next generation of professionals with AI skills will be critical to a fair and equal future of work,” said Sima Saadat, Director of Asia-Pacific at the General Assembly. “Our longstanding partnership with Adobe Digital Academy teaches up-and-coming creative professionals how to harness the power of AI in their careers and provide them with in-demand, job-ready skills. We’re thrilled to bring our upcoming cohort to India for the first time.”

Participants of this program will earn complimentary access to both live and on-demand training modules and will benefit from the General Assembly’s extensive career resources, including coaching on personal branding and portfolio development.

This support is designed to streamline the job search process for graduates. Eligibility criteria stipulate candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age, residents of India, with a household income not exceeding ₹840,000 annually. The program prefers applicants from historically underrepresented peoples in technology, notably women, within the creative sector.
