Aamir Sait has joined MongoDB as the Area Vice President for India. He will drive business growth in the region, adoption, and AI integration for MongoDB in India, while strengthening partnerships, the developer ecosystem, and enterprise engagements.
MongoDB already has a strong presence in India, with many major businesses as its customers, including SonyLIV, EY, Tata Digital, BharatPe, Zomato, Axis Bank, Zepto, Adani Digital, and others.
Aamir has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles. He previously worked at AWS, where he played a big role in growing the company’s business in India. He is skilled at building strong teams and achieving great results for customers and partners. He has also held leadership positions at RSA and Dell.
Recently, he founded a cybersecurity company, which provided him with a deeper understanding of the technical needs of the Indian market.

The developer community has seen strong adoption with more than 1.4 million developers in India now listing MongoDB as a skill on LinkedIn.
The MongoDB Academia Program aims to provide valuable skills in AI and data to more than 500,000 students in the country.
