Siemens and Capgemini are expanding their strategic partnership to co-develop AI-native digital solutions for product engineering and manufacturing. The solutions will be designed from the ground up with AI embedded, rather than being add-ons.
They have identified 16 high-impact capability areas where they expect measurable outcomes such as improved production efficiency, faster time-to-market, better quality, and enhanced sustainability. They will do this by using Siemens’ software, automation, and energy-saving tools together with Capgemini’s skills in engineering and business change.
The joint efforts will combine Siemens’ industrial software, automation, electrification and sustainability portfolio with Capgemini’s engineering capabilities, industry knowledge and business transformation expertise.
By embedding AI “natively” (from the start) rather than layering it later, the companies aim to unlock more transformative benefits in manufacturing, e.g., real-time decision-making and the elimination of silos between engineering and production.
“For our customers, Capgemini is like a compass – deeply familiar with our customers’ challenges and ambitions. Siemens provides the engine: Technologies like industrial AI, digital twins, and automation,” said Cedrik Neike, CEO of Digital Industries and Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG. “Together, we guide our customers through their digital transformation with speed, precision, and a clear course toward the future.”
Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini, said: “By working together, we want to help customers deal with complex problems and get real results, making their operations work better than before. We are experts at connecting the real world with the digital world, helping customers change how they design and produce things more quickly. This stronger partnership shows that we both want to provide the best AI for industry and smart factories, bringing more value to companies.”
