Atlassian Corporation, a leading provider of team collaboration and productivity software, has announced a new long-term partnership with Google Cloud. This partnership aims to help businesses move to the cloud faster and improve their use of artificial intelligence (AI).
With this partnership, Atlassian will bring its popular tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and Loom, to Google Cloud’s advanced infrastructure. It will also create better connections between Google and Atlassian products, using Google’s AI technology to help customers build AI tools that can improve productivity and teamwork.
This collaboration is an important step for Atlassian as it expands its services in the cloud. For the first time, people can find Atlassian tools in the Google Cloud Marketplace, which will make it easier for businesses to get the tools they need using the money they already have set aside for Google Cloud.
“Atlassian wants to help every team reach their full potential, and this new partnership with Google Cloud is an important step in that direction,” said Mike Cannon-Brookes, CEO and co-founder of Atlassian. “By combining our teamwork tools and AI with Google’s technology, we can help customers create smarter tools that can think deeply and understand complex tasks. Together, we’re making it simpler for organizations to work together, innovate, and grow.”
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, said, “Atlassian is making a strong commitment to customers using Google Cloud. By running important tools like Jira and Confluence on our safe infrastructure, we will help businesses innovate faster with intelligent AI.”
Rajeev Rajan, CTO at Atlassian, added, “Our work with Google Cloud opens a new door for our customers. We are creating a future where businesses can easily use the cloud, drive innovation with AI, and work together without any hassles. Our customers want to move to the cloud, and we are dedicated to making that process easier and better for everyone.”
