NetApp appointed Wissam Jabre as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 10, 2025.
Wissam Jabre’s appointment comes in light of the forthcoming retirement of Mike Berry, who has held the CFO role at NetApp for the past five years.
Wissam Jabre has a strong background in managing finance functions in fast-paced environments that prioritize customer-centric operations. Recently, he served as EVP and CFO at Western Digital Corporation, overseeing the global finance operations, encompassing critical areas like accounting, financial reporting, tax strategy, treasury management, internal audit, and investor relations.
Prior to Western Digital, Wissam Jabre was the Senior Vice President and CFO at Dialog Semiconductor until its acquisition by Renesas Electronics in 2021. His expertise further extends into senior finance positions at Advanced Micro Devices, Freescale Semiconductor, and Motorola, providing him with a deep understanding of financial dynamics in the technology sector.
Wissam Jabre started his career at Schlumberger, where he gained foundational experience in engineering and finance roles. Additionally, he contributes to the governance of MKS Instruments, Inc. as an audit committee member.
Wissam Jabre’s Academic credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
